Data Clerk - First Shift (Part Time) job - Great Lakes Cheese, Inc. - Adams, NY
The Data Clerk will perform general administrative duties and tasks for the Plant; primarily the Quality and Warehouse departments. Responsibilities
Enter daily lab, testing results and information into the system.
Download demand planning files and input data into SAP daily.
Create and maintain a daily hot sheet with results and circulate to all supervisors and production manager.
Enter moisture and fat yield studies into master production database daily.
Miscellaneous reporting, data input and maintenance of records for production manager.
Maintain all production data forms and ensure they are up-to-date.
Verify counts for inventory of supplies, safety and product on a weekly basis.
Back up-to front office clerk for milk schedules, milk ticket data entry, contractors, and customer curd orders.
Back up-to shipping and receiving clerk for cook sheet and shipping information for both cheese and whey.
All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
All GLC employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
High School diploma or GED.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Effective communication skills with varied audiences and situations.
Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize by importance.
Knowledge of arithmetic, spelling, grammar or general high school subject matter.
Emits pleasant, helpful, and professional demeanor; develops relationships easily.
Planned weekend work as needed.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
1 year of general office experience or more.
SAP experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting.
Occasional exposure to industrial operations (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
