- The Communications Agent’s primary focus is receiving, recording and disseminating pertinent operational information to station and company personal.
- Monitor all flights in progress for possible delays, weather, flight cancellations and other information to Seattle Station.
- Input arrival and departure information and coding delays into the SABRE computer system through Gatesheet.
- Monitor for and help resolve Parking and Gating issues.
- Communicate with Flight Crew, Portland SOC, Outstation and OAL Personnel. – Other duties as assigned
- Load Planning and Pre-fueling functions. Collect the preflight and fueling paperwork and provide it for the load coordinators and fueling dispatchers/leads/
- Provide exceptional internal communication and customer service
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum age of 18 required
- Authorization to work in the U.S required
- Ability to provide quality internal customer service
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of SABRE and IMAGE computer systems required
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds required
- Previous airline customer service experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge of weather language and codes preferred
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Friendly, knowledgeable and polite in all situations
- Demonstrated computer keyboard proficiency
- Strong diplomacy and teamwork skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Regular and predictable attendance
- If selected, ability to attend a training session
