Navy Surface Ship Engineering Technician (010484 DNSD)

Job Description Develop and revise Navy Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation as requested by SUBMEPP customer, based on Fleet feedback or other requirements. PMS documentation may apply to operational surface ships, aircraft carriers, or service craft. Also, conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to determine new system maintenance requirements based on MIL-P-24534A (Navy). (M) Required Skills Qualification as Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist or Surface Warfare Officer.

Divisonal, Departmental, or ships 3-M Coordinator on a surface ship or aircraft carrier.
Experience in the maintenance and/or operation of combat systems (CS) or hull, mechanical or electrical (HM&E) systems for US Navy surface ships. This experience has been accumulated in a Naval Shipyard, a private shipyard performing maintenance or new construction work, or on active duty in the US Navy.

Proficient in the use of Windows PC and Microsoft Office software.
Desired Skills Specialized experience in the use, maintenance, or revision of Navy Planned Maintenance documentation.

Experience with LCS class a plus.

Education High School diploma or Assc. degree Experience E5 or above with a minimum of 3 years experience supervising and administering the PMS program.
