Position Summary

The Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for leading product ideation and product management that drives leadership and differentiation in the highly competitive oral healthcare industry and promotes Philips Oral Hygiene product strategies and global brand positioning. This highly challenging position offers an attractive balance between strategic thinking and “hands on” work and takes place in an attractive, internationally oriented environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

* Develops long-term marketing strategies to grow the Oral Hygiene business through new products and marketing initiatives.
* Develops business plans, manages budgets and the innovation timelines to meet business creation objectives.
* Works with global Market Research and Regional Marketing Managers to develop consumer insights relevant to innovation projects.
* Translates validated concepts into clear detailed product specifications for development.
* Represents the voice of the consumer on the product innovation team working collaboratively with partners in Market Research, Marketing Communication, R&D, Clinical Affairs and Regional Marketing Managers from concept creation through global launch. Responsible for the end product meeting the requirements of the validated concept.
* Develops launch plans and works collaboratively with Regional Marketing Managers, Marketing Communication and Dental Professional Marketing Teams to develop global deployment strategies and tools.
* Maintains a collaborative partnership with Regional Marketing Managers to collect and synthesize industry trends, competitor profiles, market feedback, and product sales performance into future business opportunities.
* Some travel required (10% - 15%).

Minimum Job Requirements

Your Profile:

We are looking for candidates with:

* A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Marketing discipline. MBA preferred.
* A minimum of 3 to 5 years progressive experience in New Product Development/Ideation, Brand/Product Management or Project Management within a Consumer Package Goods company or equivalent relevant experience. Experience with professionally endorsed products desired.
* Demonstrated competency in marketing plan and business case development, consumer insights development, and new product launches.
* Demonstrated leadership and consumer marketing skills in working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams to develop consumer driven solutions and innovative designs.

* A track record of creative problem solving.
* Growth potential, a global mindset and the drive to stay ahead of the competition.
