- Perform CAD data and quality checks to ensure that data meets Volvo PDM standards and to be the authority on Volvo CAD standards and best practices.
- Perform daily technical support and problem solving of CAD issues.  
- Maintain the current CAD environment and support the implementation of new CAD applications and technologies.
- Organize and initiate training on CAD/PDM applications and related software for all end users (Pro/ENGINEER, PDMLink, Windchill, etc).
- Provide a mentorship role for CAD users on Volvo best practices and techniques in Pro/ENGINEER and PDMLink.
- Assists in the design, testing/validation and/or development of Gasoline engines and Transmissions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- BSc degree in Engineering, or a minimum of 6 years applicable progressive marine or automotive experience.
- Experience as a CAD systems administrator is very much preferred.
- Must have extensive excellent knowledge of  Volvo CAD standards and extensive product knowledge and working knowledge of PTC software, especially Windchill, PDMLink and Pro/ENGINEER. 
- Must have working knowledge of KOLA and the KPS release process.
- Firm understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances and of internal combustion engines.
