This position is responsible for follow up and appeals on third party billing, analyzing patient records and determine the legitimacy of treatment, diagnostic testing and admissions. Verifying correct coding to ensure prompt payment and consulting with claims processors at Third Party Payer companies regarding disputes/denied claims and follow up on all bills not processed within usual claim period.
