Design Validation and Test engineer responsible for post silicon validation of USB and High speed serial interfaces. The engineer will enable and conduct DVT on Physical layer functionality and electrical compliance as per the standard in test chips and SOCs, including certification, failure and deficiency analysis. Responsible for conducting silicon validation of PHY for Transmitter and Receiver functionality.The candidate wil participate in silicon debug and root cause analysis working with DE designers and other test engineers. He or she will The engineer is responsible for setting up the bench test boards and equipment for taking the required measurements and failure analysis.
– Familiarity with test equipment for high speed Physical layer complaince testing is required
– Should have good understanding of board level schematics and debug any board level failures
– Experience in using lab equipment including scopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers and exercisers
