You have experience in both product development and carrier certification and you have demonstrated the ability to deliver solutions with your project management experience. A track record of proven product launches you have supported. An ability to manage multiple projects and established rigor against development timeline needs is required.
Role & Opportunity:
Key interface with 3rd party vendors to manage and drive multiple highly complex projects which involve key development initiatives.
Collaborate with co-located and multisite teams in product globalization, customer issue prioritization and resolution, to successfully take the product to global markets.
Have deep ownership of end to end commitments, interacting with multiple disciplines in the organization. Closely collaborate with requirements management, key engineering leads from HW, SW and Test to ensure smooth execution of the program.
Actively manage and clearly communicate schedules, plans and program risks not only to engineering but also executive level audiences.
Directly contribute to design, development/ integration, unit testing, and debugging across the platform.
Drive/Lead cross functional teams to generate use cases, technical feasibility analysis to develop and define processes / requirements to ensure compliance with operator requirements.
Interact with customers and handle product related issues, mobile broadband related tests, support IOT and Field test activities.
Establish and drive vendor engagement relationships with Surface 3rd party vendors. Ensure vendor related bugs are driven to resolution, root caused & communicated back to program & customer.
Qualifications
BS degree in EE or CS; MS preferred
At least 8 years of program and/or product experiences in the wireless industry with proven experience. Development management experience is a plus
4-6 years of product development experience, with at least 4 years of combined experience with CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE technology
Demonstrated track record in development and deployment of products and new technologies, as well as process development and execution.
Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools and techniques
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Tools
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communications skills
Team-oriented approach with the desire to both teach and learn from others
Proven ability to build relationships across the organization and work independently
Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations.
High enthusiasm towards learning about new technology trends and wireless products
