Job Description:
- Perform analysis on devices utilizing Failure Analysis equipment/tools (i.e. CSAM, TDR, SEM/EDX, XIVA, etc.) and provide comprehensive reports.
- Interface and support customers for quality related matters: generate Failure Analysis report in 8D report with root cause analysis utilizing techniques such as fishbone diagrams or 5-why, as well as clear understating of physical FA techniques plus analyzing/interpreting results (as applicable) plus corrective and preventive actions.
- Creates and maintains documentation in accordance with industry/Automotive standard (i.e. QS9000, TS16949, AEC-Q100) or customer specific requirements; these activities include qualifying products through customer New Product Introduction requirements (i.e. Product readiness authorization, PPAP for automotive customers).
- Creation and revision of Control Plans, Flow Charts, gage studies, SPC charts, and other assigned documentation.
- Present QA capability to customer – Zero Defect plans: Work on PPM reduction programs to help meet customer PPM goals
- Preparation of product Qualification Reports based on industry standard (i.e. JEDEC) or customer specific requirements (include Process, Package qualification).
- Quality Monitor Plan, SCAR and Internal CAR, Outgoing inspection criteria
- Working knowledge of semiconductor Internal Qualification Requirements including Product characterization and Systems validation reports as well as test program release,
- Review and support of PCN documentations.
Job requirements:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Device Physics with 5+ years of circuit level knowledge of CMOS products, Test or Quality engineering in semiconductor or automotive industry.
- Experience with advanced die and package technologies.
- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of failure Analysis equipment/tooling/techniques (i.e. Curve Tracer, X-Ray, CSAM, XIVA/EDX, SEM, FIB, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills and interactive skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of AEC-Q100 requirements, DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PAT (Part Average Testing). Six-Sigma black belt is desirable.
