CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - Wake County Government - Raleigh, NC





This position provides customer service and clerical support to the HIV Clinic. The HIV Clinic provides comprehensive HIV care that includes periodic medical evaluations, appropriate laboratory evaluations and screening, and treatment of HIV infection, on-site counseling for mental health, substance abuse, case management, medication/treatment adherence and nutrition, emergency financial assistance, housing and emergency food. In addition it provides the opportunity for clients to participate in clinical trials through UNC AIDS Clinical Research Unit.

Job duties include: Reception duties, Client Registration, Answering multiline telephones, Providing test results to STD Clients, preforming data entry of patient billing encounters, preparing daily schedules, taking payments, facilitating patient satisfaction surveys, requesting charts, package condoms, scheduling appointments, making reminder calls, maintaining education materials in patient lobby; secure client information at all times. Client Registration includes: interviewing clients, entering client demographics and insurance information in to GE Centricity (electronic health record) and chart preparation.

NOTE: A criminal background and credit check will be conducted.
