DRUPAL Content Manager/ Helpdesk Manager Position We are a small technology consulting firm who develop and support Web applications that manage our clients’ environmental and business data using Drupal and geospatial technologies. To help us achieve our goals, we are seeking a Drupal Content Manger/ Site Builder to join our team with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience developing LAMP Drupal applications. We are passionate about GIS and integrating mapping technologies with Content Management Systems (Drupal) to help organizations and business innovate their workflows. So understanding, knowledge and interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a big plus.
This position will be an integral member of our technology team to assist with innovative workflow integration using Drupal CMS for both existing and future clients. You will be responsible for day to day content management and helpdesk support to our users. The position requires excellent communication and programming skills, problem solving abilities and an eye for detail. They will use these skills to be a key member of our Support Team on an active Helpdesk for supporting users of an existing CMS Web application.
Required Drupal Skills/experience: Technical/


  • Drupal (D7) Site Building Configuration

– Module Installation and Evaluation.- Druapl Them Regions Blocks etc.


  • Experience with Views Module

  • Experience with Drupal permissions

  • Experience with content editing

  • Managing user accounts

  • CSS experience

  • Competence with a wide range of web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, XML)

  • Experience and expertise in PHP very desirable

Non-Technical:
Client-facing personality required; this includes using your coordination, communication, time management, and relationship-building skills in order to maintain a positive working relationship with client and team members. This also includes an attitude of technical ownership to develop and drive execution based on company standards.
Assets


  • Understanding of geospatial technology and experience with GIS – a big plus

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong drive to accomplish tasks on or before scheduled due dates

  • Self-starter with experience working on projects with limited direction

  • Quality of work to include timeliness, completeness and accuracy

  • Ability to work in an agile development environment

  • Enjoy customer/client interface and helping to provide technical support
