Data/Budget Analyst, Security Governance Initiative
Dexis is seeking an experienced Data/Budget Analyst to provide Monitoring and Evaluation Services to the Security Governance Initiative, based at the Department of State. The work location for this position will be at the Department of State. This is a long-term position. The estimated start date for this position is fall 2016. This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain program budgets, work breakdown structures, and cost-related spreadsheets with the ability to report on SGI budgets by program, account, country, and implementer.
● Draft all budget-related data entry for Security Governance Intiative programs and activities to use for analysis of programs, expenditure rates, and program planning.
● Synthesize data to produce reports tailored to specific audiences and implementers.
Qualifications:
● A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
● Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation policies of the Department of Defense, Department of State, and USAID.
● Demonstrated knowledge of foreign assistance accounts and authorities.
● 3-5 years of experience with budget planning and data management systems.
● 3-5 years of experience managing and/or tracking foreign assistance accounts and coordinating and/or implementing foreign assistance programs.
● Demonstrated knowledge of current federal budget policies and regulation and the ability to apply them to the work environment.
● Demonstrated regional knowledge of Africa and related security issues.
● Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance.
