The Microsoft PowerPoint team is looking for a strong and motivated developer to help build the next generation of the PowerPoint Experience, on any devices, anywhere!

As an experienced developer on the team, you will be responsible for designing, building and running core pieces of the PowerPoint. You will work closely with other disciplines to take ideas through design and implementation and releasing. Expectations that you are to master a wide variety of latest technologies.   You are also be expected to provide thought leadership taking on the engineering and technical challenges to help us build and deliver the sophisticated systems required to manage and support a powerful presentation ecosystem of global scale service and effective x-plat modern Application development - these include testing in production, synthetic and real user monitoring, flighting,   experimentation, and (Big) data analysis.

You will working with partners within Microsoft and outside (Office 365, Facebook, SkyDrive, Lync, to name a few), on a mission to deliver rich authoring, collaboration, and consumption experiences in the PowerPoint in new and innovative ways.

Basic Qualifications:

  A solid computer science background (B.S. or equivalent degree)

  7+ years of industry experience in software development. Fluency in Java, C# or C++ required. Experience with Cloud Services or Mobile App development a plus.

  Excellent skills in design, debugging and problem solving.

  Effective communication skills and proven track record to work cross group, cross division and across disciplines

  Demonstrated experience in shipping high quality and large-scale services is a plus
