The Modern Support team under Customer Engineering is looking for a talented Software Engineer with a track record of delivering highly reliable and scalable cloud services while collaborating with other teams. Qualified candidates will have experience in large-scale systems, cloud services, monitoring, data mining, big data and reporting and should have strong customer empathy.
Our team's primary mission is to build critical engineering systems to reduce ‘mean time to root cause' a 'customer experience anomaly' by automatically analyzing data streams and producing relevant insights in an easy to consume manner.
Ideal candidates will have
· 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing and debugging engineering solutions for shipped software or services
· Software development skills with fluency in C# or C++, or relevant programming languages
· Self-driven and ability to work with minimal direction to research solutions to challenging business/technical problems.
· Excellent interpersonal and cross-group collaboration, communication and influencing skills
· BS/BA in computer science, or equivalent in related technical experience
· Deep passion for customers, design thinking, data analysis and technology
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
