Manage selected ERP projects and releases as identified by the demand and portfolio managers
• Monitor and report on the progress and health (scope, schedule, budget, risk) of the project
• Plan, control, and execute project requirements following prescribed processes to ensure business objectives are met.
• Define and communicate roles for project team members (functional-technical).
• Establish project budget, track spend and communicate current and project burn rates.
• Ensure requirements are contained within defined scope.
• Perform risk management planning, risk identification and mitigation.
• Develop communication strategies and lead communications with key stakeholders.
• Document and drive issues through resolution, escalating to customer, supplier and IT management as necessary.
• Control new project requests by following the prescribed demand management process
• Work with executives to identify, rank and select projects
• Manage Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools to ensure complete and accurate data
• Measure success of project execution
• Closely manage the project change request process to ensure scope, schedule, budget are in line with expectations
• Manage project conflicts and dependencies
• Motivate project team members throughout the project life cycle.
• Escalate project issues to the appropriate management
• Provide executive level portfolio reporting
| • 10 years of direct SAP Project or Delivery Management experience • Experience managing onshore and offshore teams • Significant experience managing third parties • Qualified candidates will be confident self-starters, eager to lead others by example, and willing to direct a team under tight timelines and significant pressure. • Extremely organized and able to manage a number of competing priorities • Ability to gauge an audience and clearly communicate with all levels of the organization |
