Business Analyst with engineering focus. Seeking a driven individual to head up the IT strategic roadmap activities in support of Broadcom’s Integrated Circuit (IC) Intellectual Property (IP) Management & Sharing requirements. Broadcom has an Industry Leading IP Portfolio leveraged to enable Broadcom’s leadership in key markets. This position will play an instrumental role in enabling Broadcom to maximize the value of this portfolio through IP sharing. In this capacity the candidate will be required to work closely with a broad array of stake holders including: Senior Engineering leaders, design team members, IT system analysts, application developers, and other IT SME’s. The candidate will own the IT component of the IP Sharing roadmap and will be responsible for the successful execution of the major milestones.


 


Qualifications:


• SEMICONDCUTOR INDUSTRY EXPEREINCE IS REQUIRED; Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent required


• 8+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Software development and/or Project Management. Semiconductor Industry experience, ideally in the area of chip design automation or data management is highly desirable


• Knowledge of ASIC development lifecycle, EDA tools, and experience with Integrated Circuit IP management is a plus.


• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements


• A strong verbal and written communication skillset, and the ability to lead effective meetings is critical for this role. The candidate will be required to interact extensively with internal stakeholders and IT partners, locally and remotely


• Demonstrated experience with project management tools and methods to support multiple projects, including gathering budget information, reporting on project status, and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery


• Demonstrated experience in evaluating software products, driving gap analysis and defining To-Be architecture with solution components and interfaces


• Demonstrated experience gathering data from multiple stakeholder groups and aggregating results into meaningful reports


• Must demonstrate effective team building, ability to take proactive initiatives, and ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation


• Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation skills, leadership, and the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities


• Experience writing requirements for web applications with database backend. Preference for technical/development background on .NET/MSSQL/Windows/Perl/Unix Shell


• Complete lifecycle implementation and operations experience on custom/commercial/integrated software applications


• Ability to handle high levels of responsibility, self-directed, with strong organizational and project management skills.
