Be part of the Office of the CTO, the advanced research arm of Broadcom. Responsibilities include:


• Highly optimized implementation of digital IP blocks such as ARM CPU cores


• Responsible for development of state-of-the-art design methodologies for various implementation steps including logic synthesis, clock-tree synthesis, place and route, power optimization, and timing sign-off; the work will include development of all related scripts and programs


• Responsible for design of custom circuit structures such as custom clock trees


 


Be part of the Office of the CTO, the advanced research arm of Broadcom. Responsibilities include:


• Highly optimized implementation of digital IP blocks such as ARM CPU cores


• Responsible for development of state-of-the-art design methodologies for various implementation steps including logic synthesis, clock-tree synthesis, place and route, power optimization, and timing sign-off; the work will include development of all related scripts and programs


• Responsible for design of custom circuit structures such as custom clock trees




•Typically requires an MS degree and 5 years of experience or a PhD, with a minimum of 0-3 years of experience in advanced digital IC design

•Must have in-depth understanding of the digital ASIC implementation/optimization methodologies from logic synthesis through place-and-route to timing sign-off


•Must have strong knowledge of CMOS circuits


•Must have strong scripting, programming and methodology development experience


•Must have backend layout design experience (preferably with one or more of ICC/EDI/AP)


•Must have strong communications skills
