ICAP at Columbia University conducted a study entitled "ENhance Initiation and Retention in IPT Care for HIV Study (ENRICH Study)" from July 2013 to February 2016. The purpose of the ENRICH Study was to assess the effectiveness and acceptability of a combination intervention package (CIP) vs. standard of care (SOC) for provision of isoniazid preventive therapy (IPT) to people living with HIV in Ethiopia. Data collection is complete and analyses are ongoing. The investigators require support conducting analyses for the purpose of developing a final report, abstracts, and manuscripts. To support these activities, ICAP at Columbia University is looking for a qualified and interested student to fill one part-time position in the ICAP office in New York. The position is funded through February 2017. Grant Funded. Major Accountabilities


  • Work closely with the ICAP Data Analyst to develop SAS code for analyses

  • Conduct analyses, prepare tables and graphs for the development of the ENRICH final report, abstracts for submission to international conferences and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals

  • Contribute to the completion of the final report to NIH

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Investigators

    Education

  • Requires a BA/BSc. (in statistics, sociology or any other relevant field) Experience, Skills & Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Current student enrolled in the Mailman School of Public Health

  • Background and interest in data analysis and use of SAS statistical analysis software

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including MS Excel and Powerpoint

  • Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
