Job Description Develop and revise Navy Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation as requested by SUBMEPP customer, based on Fleet feedback or other requirements. PMS documentation may apply to operational surface ships, aircraft carriers, or service craft. Also, conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to determine new system maintenance requirements based on MIL-P-24534A (Navy). (M) Required Skills Qualification as Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist or Surface Warfare Officer.
Divisonal, Departmental, or ships 3-M Coordinator on a surface ship or aircraft carrier. Experience in the maintenance and/or operation of combat systems (CS) or hull, mechanical or electrical (HM&E) systems for US Navy surface ships. This experience has been accumulated in a Naval Shipyard, a private shipyard performing maintenance or new construction work, or on active duty in the US Navy.
Proficient in the use of Windows PC and Microsoft Office software. Desired Skills Specialized experience in the use, maintenance, or revision of Navy Planned Maintenance documentation.
Experience with LCS class a plus.
Education High School diploma or Assc. degree Experience E5 or above with a minimum of 3 years experience supervising and administering the PMS program.

Every year many families unnecessarily lose their homes and possessions to wildland fire. These losses can be minimized if homeowners take the time to become aware of safety measures to help protect their homes and complete some effective actions.

The roof and exterior structure of your dwelling should be constructed of non-combustible or fire resistant materials such as fire resistant roofing materials, tile, slate, sheet iron, aluminum, brick, or stone. Wood siding, cedar shakes, exterior wood paneling, and other highly combustible materials should be treated with fire retardant chemicals.
Clean roof surfaces and gutters of pine needs, leaves, branches, etc., regularly to avoid accumulation of flammable materials. Remove portions of any tree extending within 10 feet of the flue opening of any stove or chimney. Maintain a screen constructed of non-flammable material over the flue opening of every chimney or stovepipe. Mesh openings of the screen should not exceed 1/2 inch. Landscape vegetation should be spaced so that fire can not be carried to the structure or surrounding vegetation. Remove branches from trees to height of 15 feet. A fuel break should be maintained around all structures. Dispose of stove or fireplace ashes and charcoal briquettes only after soaking them in a metal pail of water. Store gasoline in an approved safety can away from occupied buildings. Propane tanks should be far enough away from buildings for valves to be shut off in case of fire. Keep area clear of flammable vegetation. All combustibles such as firewood, picnic tables, boats, etc. should be kept away from structures. Garden hose should be connected to outlet. Addressing should be indicated at all intersections and on structures. All roads and driveways should be at least 16 feet in width. Have fire tools handy such as: ladder long enough to reach the roof, shovel, rake and bucket for water. Each home should have at least two different entrance and exit routes.

SIZESEEKER is a funded startup that helps consumers to find the right size the first time when they’re shopping online. We’re hiring an entrepreneurial engineer with expertise in algorithm design to change the way people shop for clothes.
We're a small, energetic company that is growing rapidly, and are looking for people who will thrive in an unstructured, early stage startup environment. We love the luxury fashion customers that we serve, and hope to find a like-minded image processing / algorithm design engineer to join the team.
You’ll be using an agile development process with rapid iteration to build an algorithm that matches user inputs including height, weight, body shape, and purchase history to their size in online clothing. We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help us map these user inputs to our database of parameterized 3D body scans.
A successful candidate will be excited to work full-time to help build a company from the ground up. We have multimillion-dollar customers in the luxury fashion space ready to take our product to market. We’re located in NYC and though we’re open to an initial remote consulting period, you’ll need to be located here in the long run.
Skills required include expertise in MATLAB and C++, and especially the ability to quickly understand and build upon our existing technology. Comfort with machine learning and computer graphics would be major plusses, as would proficiency with web development languages. The ideal candidate also has passion for fashion and an eye for elegance.
We will pay market based compensation, with preference to engineers who are looking for an entrepreneurial package with an equity stake in the company.
About You:
You have a Master’s or PhD in computer science. You’re also excited to work in a startup environment where creative problem solving and personal initiative are a key element of success.

The duties for this position will include developing TWD’s in support of shipboard Combat Systems (Mechanical) maintenance and repairs as follows:
1. Technical Work Documents (TWD) shall be developed/modified using the Government’s AIM computer program and other Navy data systems including: a. Material research and ordering. b. Preparing Quality Assurance (QA) documents. c. Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) & Ship’s Drawing Index (SDI) drawing research. d. Compiling Allowance Parts Lists (APL). e. Reviewing Submarine Maintenance Standards (SMS). f. Completing Unrestricted Operations/Maintenance Requirement Cards (URO/MRC). 2. Provide technical advice and information to C/290 Division, Shop, Ship or other Shipyard personnel. As required, seek and exchange technical information with off-station activities. 3.
