The Content Evangelist will be a member of the Brand Strategy team and is responsible for communicating the value and effectiveness of our display advertising portfolio to markets across the world.   Your mission is to light up our brand by creating stories about our portfolio and products that demonstrate our advertising excellence, creativity, relevance to marketers and technological innovation.   You would work closely with our product marketing and brand team to create these scenarios, stories and product demos.   Then you would take the stories on the road -- with evangelism to influential internal partners, the Advertising and Online Trade Marketing Partners, Sales teams and key thought leaders throughout the world-wide markets. Your ultimate goal?   You become the go-to, trusted advisor and advocate for Microsoft Advertising sales teams because you create the sizzle that showcases Microsoft’s powerful position in the display marketplace.  

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  Quickly grasp complex concepts and rapidly translate them into compelling, customer-facing content

  Get the right people in the room, land the plan, and churn out high-quality content at the speed of light

  Juggle multiple projects with multiple content deliverables

  Take a vague request and hit the mark on the first try by following up with smart questions

  Work effectively and happily in a fast-paced environment and within a high-performing team.

  Leverage data to validate content and to effectively target and understand the audience

  Knock down blockers with finesse

  Be constantly looking for ways to scale your work

Core Responsibilities:

  Develop ad product and consumer product scenarios that demonstrate excellence, innovation, creativity and relevance.

  Create persuasive, passionate, data-validated, high impact, high quality presentations

  Prepare executives to speak/demo at Industry Conferences, client meetings and events

  Write expert content

  Hire and manage technical support vendors to develop technology demos and scenarios; manage their deliverables

  Build and maintain high-quality relationships with industry leaders and leadership at across the ad industry.

  Be a consultative partner to Microsoft Advertising account teams, including AEs, Global Account Directors, and District Managers, by engaging on a regular basis to educate, provide updates, align on account plans, identify opportunities to drive revenue, and evangelize our unique value prop in the marketplace.

Requirements:

  Expert level knowledge of online media and advertising; including minimum 8-10 years of relevant media sales, service, marketing, or program management experience related to the advertising industry

  Minimum 3 years marketing or related advertising experience (5+ years of experience preferred)

  Display advertising experience preferred, Search advertising experience a plus

  Proven ability to engage within the advertising marketing community through expert written content and track record of building online relationships

  Positive, can-do spirit and passion for digital marketing, search and technology

  Expert public speaking capability, able to represent Microsoft Advertising internally and externally

  Experience managing agencies or vendors

  Experience establishing and nurturing mid to senior-level, long term relationships with digital marketing executives and community thought leaders

  Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to new business directions and goals

  Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity and meeting deadlines

  Expert skills in PowerPoint and knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Sway and PowerPoint Mix preferred.

  Experience in creative direction for visual and written content, including video, a plus

  Ability to create demo mock-ups or flow-diagrams a plus

This role will own planning and achieving revenue targets for the SMB business across SQL Server Enterprise Edition, SQL Server Standard, Power BI and DB Workloads in Azure for the SMB market. Success requires leadership and collaboration across a variety of stakeholders, including: US Subsidiary management (M&O, Partner), field and the WW C+E Business Group.

Key Responsibilities:

•      Define, lead, and execute business plans and priorities through excellent business planning, scorecard and ROB management for SQL Server in SMB

•      Execute plans to drive awareness and Hoster-generated revenue through the SMB Channel

•      Define and execute digital SMB campaigns that drive awareness, consideration and revenue leveraging self-service business models.

•      Lead strong marketing strategy, partner and sales enablement within the US subsidiary and US market via customer or partner targeting, landing the product value proposition, messaging, compete, positioning, and GTM approach..

•      Work with WW C&E BG to land SMB business priorities, readiness and campaigns across customers and partners that drive to scorecard achievement.

•      Land digital/telemarketing campaign to increase net-new SMB customers.

•      Lead excellence in execution across the customer journey as the orchestration point across the US subsidiary for all C+E products in SMB

•      Be a product evangelist by storytelling through customer and partner engagements

•      Gather and analyze business insights through events, customer and partner engagements or visits, and EBCs to improve financial performance.

Key Qualifications:

•      A highly-motivated, results-driven, strategic thinker with robust analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of integrated marketing strategies and execution.

•      Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of success in product management, sales, marketing, business or program management.

•      Segment (SMB) or Subsidiary knowledge preferred.

•      Working knowledge of the C+E product portfolio.

•      Audience experience an asset including IT Pro, BDM or Partner.

•      Experience profitably growing revenue in the SMB community, as asset.

•      The ability to work independently in ambiguous and changing environments, along with exceptional listening and collaboration skills

•      Strong communication skills; must thrive working across organizational and cultural boundaries

•      5+ years’ experience in consulting, marketing, strategic planning, financial or business analysis.

•      BA or BS required in marketing, math, economics, engineering or a related discipline. MBA strongly preferred.

Senior Product Marketing Manager

As an individual contributor in Enterprise Services Solutions Marketing, you will define unified customer conversations and messaging, create targeted account plans and execute appropriate campaigns. We are organized by five Priority Areas (Mobility, Productivity, Cloud Platform, Dynamics and Applications) - this role will require depth in at least one of these domains while also working across these solution areas.   External stakeholder inter-dependency places a high emphasis on coordinating with multiple Product Marketing Groups, Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG) and Services Field Leadership to align marketing plans with the company-wide strategy and customer requirements.

In sum, your responsibilities will include:

¨ Priority Area Marketing:   Integrate and simplify cross Priority Area internal and external messaging. Support Priority Area Marketing needs which includes and is not limited to: demand generation programs, lead nurturing activities, account targeting, event support and external and internal evidence development in alignment with Services central marketing team. Displays in-depth solution expertise, and serves as the point of contact or spokesperson to key industry influencers and thought leaders on the topic of key business or solution-line initiatives.

¨ Positioning, Messaging & Storytelling:   Create core content and collateral for the bill of materials (BOM) for multiple solutions. Materials must articulate the solutions value propositions and messaging frameworks and are relevant to and will resonate with customers. Integrated with business groups and Enterprise & Partner Marketing (EPG) on campaigns and align core messaging.

¨ Customer Advocacy:   Create the appropriate vehicles to identify customer buying behaviors and technology trends.   Create innovative approaches to harvest best practices from customer engagements and replicate for new opportunities.  

¨ Marketing Planning: Create marketing execution plans for Services solutions based on understanding of market, strategy, competitive landscape, voice of the customer and economic dynamics.   Monitors existing business metrics and augments strategies that ensure ROI.

¨ Competitive Positioning & Response:   Monitor key competitors to provide insight and input to program management during the solution planning process in order to create competitive differentiation

You will have a passion for marketing solutions to enterprise customers and have a proven track record of working across field marketing and sales organizations. Strong cross group collaboration, impact & influence, interpersonal awareness, analytical and communication skills are required. Must have the ability to demonstrate executive maturity and strong collaboration with senior leadership teams. Successful candidates must also have a strong understanding of the both Microsoft’s Enterprise Products and Field Sales and Services disciplines.  

Qualifications:

¨ 6+ years of marketing or sales experience.

¨ Experience in the development and implementation of marketing programs, campaigns or initiatives is essential.

¨ Deep domain expertise in the complex software solution market. Working knowledge of the competitive landscape and understanding of the partner ecosystem including motivation, capabilities, key differentiators, etc.

¨ Strong communication, data synthesis, presentation, leadership, and comfort interfacing with various technical and business leaders is required

¨ Familiarity with MS Consulting and Support services business and field operations is imperative.

¨ A BA/MS in Marketing and Professional Services or Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred. An MBA is a strong plus.

This position will be based in Redmond, WA at Microsoft headquarters, with global travel expected to be approximately 10%.

This position is for the Mini Hydraulic Excavator (MHE) assembly line at the new

Job Functions/Duties:

Requires an assembly, mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of assembly practices.

Uses various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties

Mechanical job duties may include the following:

Use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs.

Rotation to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related activities.
