As a Dynamics CRM Customer Care Technology Solutions Specialist (TSS) you will assist the Dynamics Sales team in qualifying, developing, and managing Dynamics CRM related customer care opportunities. Along with the other sales team members, you will play an integral part in maximizing Microsoft’s long term revenue growth, ensuring successful deployment of our products and improving customer satisfaction.   This role will be primarily focused on the sale of Parature solutions and services, a recent and exciting acquisition by Microsoft.

In this position, you will communicate and transfer business process / solutions sales knowledge in customer care and service center scenarios. The Customer Care Technology Solutions Specialist will be focused on Demand Generation (seminars, tradeshows), Solution Development (Discovery), and Proof Phases (DEMO) of the sales cycle. To support scaling Microsoft’s reach, the CRM Customer Care Technology Solutions Specialist is responsible for building sales expertise of our partners and supporting our MBS selling team with solution demonstration and mapping of the MBS applications to the customer’s business.

The Customer Care TSS is a critical part of the virtual team that works closely with the Microsoft Account Team, Specialist Unit and Dynamics partners as a Subject Matter Expert and Consultant. They will visit client sites and go on calls with these teams to help convert prospects into technical solutions for the business. When a partner is involved, the CRM Customer Care TSS assists in communicating the benefits of Parature and how the solution integrates to Microsoft CRM if that is a requirement. The CRM Customer Care TSS is also an escalation resource, to assist in the sales process, for top tier managed partners (top 30%). The CRM Customer Care TSS also provides business solutions technical evangelism to the broader community of partners and customers through various events (live, web, etc.).

Specializations around a vertical industry (healthcare, financial services, public sector, professional services) is strongly desired but not required.   Customer care experience, expertise with the CRM solution set, and being skilled in the art of storytelling are all very important skills necessary to be successful in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will:

• Strong technical background in CRM and Cloud Solutions space

• 6+ year's technical presales experience

• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of Microsoft technology to senior business and technical decision makers as well as front-line technologists

• Must be proficient in creating Technical Solution Strategy mapped to the business plan for the accounts assigned

• Must be able to work effectively with virtual teams

• A BA/BS or MS degree is preferred

HCL is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to work at the Library Help Desk based at the Ridgedale Library. This position provides technology support for staff and patrons, supports Library IT projects and involves travel to all library locations. The Help Desk is staffed 7 days a week with rotating shifts based on an 8 hour day and flexibility required based upon business needs. Work schedules start between 7 am to 12:30 pm and end between 3:30 pm to 9 pm; weekend shifts are 8:30 to 5 or 9:30 to 6.

Primary responsibilities and duties include:
Provide a wide range of first and second level support for HCL staff including: workstations, Internet and web issues, printers and print systems, Integrated Library System applications and services, MS Exchange, MS Office and other software; network issues (LAN & WAN), including wireless systems, PC Reservations systems, and peripheral hardware. Provide occasional third level support on weekends and evenings under the direction of IT staff. Provide a wide range of service and support for customers including downloadable and web-based content, website and wireless issues, and other library technology questions Conduct on-site support for incidents that cannot be diagnosed and/or resolved via remote access Equipment management and Move/Add/Change services including: hardware and software deployment for new users and/or new equipment, on-site installation, reconfiguration and upgrades to workstations and peripherals. Reassesses existing vendor relationships to include but not limited to: benchmark vendor performance, reduce risk of vendor nonperformance, produce early problem resolution, perform risk assessment, evaluate vendor's strategic direction, and monitor vendor compliance.
10. Recommends technical direction and standards based on exploitation and innovation of evolving technologies and identifies how the business operational processes will benefit from those technologies. Identifies and recommends strategies to mitigate associated risks. Communicates evolving technical and architectural strategies, standards and direction to audiences with varying technical knowledge.
11. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Description:
The New Community College (NCC) at the City University of New York (CUNY) seeks a skilled and experienced educator in Information Technology to join its faculty to teach in the curriculum's first-year experience of inter-disciplinary coursework rooted in experiential learning activities with New York City as a primary text and laboratory, as well as in the major. The successful candidate will be an effective educator committed to preparing urban community college students, who typically enter unprepared to do college work, for academic success and completion. To do so, the candidate will make use of a range of effective curricular, pedagogical and support strategies and be flexible and open to sharing and learning from others. The candidate must be committed to the College's vision to serve a linguistically and culturally diverse student body and to teaching in the first year experience. This tenure-track appointment will begin in the Summer/Fall 2012 semester.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have broad knowledge and expertise to teach students the foundations of IT, including courses in programming, networking, databases, and web-based systems; and provide learning opportunities to cultivate logical and analytical thinking for students to apply in various contexts across the disciplines and life. Moreover, s/he will employ hands-on teaching methods to engage students with course content relevant to real businesses to gain relevant exposure to and knowledge of the field and enter the job market with marketable technical skills to meet the computer technology needs of various organizations.

The general duties of a faculty member include but are not limited to teaching courses in the first-year core and in the majors; advising and supporting students as they progress; participating in committees and other governance structures; scholarship in the discipline and/or teaching and learning; and performing administrative, supervisory, and other duties as may be assigned.

Prior to NCC's opening, appointed faculty and staff will work as a team to develop programs at a new institution dedicated to rethinking community college education to improve student learning and completion. Candidates will have the capacity to work with their colleagues to develop courses and learning goals, create learning communities, and define and participate in faculty development initiatives. They will be comfortable crossing disciplinary boundaries, as they will be expected to develop and teach interdisciplinary courses as well as in a major field.

Minimum Qualifications: A Doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, and Software Engineering, or a related discipline required. Preferred technology specializations include programming, networking, databases, and/or web-based systems.

-Demonstrated capacity to use a diverse range of effective instructional strategies and openness to adopting new practices
-Ability to conduct ongoing learning assessments for both formative and summative purposes
-Understanding of urban community college students' assets and challenges.

• Responsible for managing the instructional process and student advising within the area of instruction.
• Responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing curriculum and student outcomes.
• May be responsible for assisting with student clinical experience including but not limited to, student placement, site recruitment, site communication, maintenance of records, site visits, and evaluation of site compliance with program policies.

• Responsible for upholding the core values of the College.
• Maintains necessary documentation for programs and students as required by the State of Wisconsin.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years (five years preferred) of occupational experience or equivalent education and work experience.
• Must be certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
• Knowledge of the operational issues of health care organizations, health care reform, regulatory requirements, reimbursement methodologies, claims and records handling, and coding.
• Teaching/training experience preferred.
• Employment conditional upon completion of a Caregiver Background Check with the results acceptable to the clinical agencies accessed in the curriculum.
• Must be able to meet the Wisconsin Technical College system certification requirements.
• Must be able to work a schedule that could include one or two evening courses per semester.
