Position Description This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and leading the Accounts Receivable Team, including denial follow up, claims appeals, and payment posting.The manager establishes strategic direction for these areas and establishs best practice.
The Manager coordinates the operations of the department to ensure appropriate cash flow, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and client satisfaction.
The Medical Billing Manager will manage and coordinate all Accounts Receivable functions and staff, reviewing and responding to quality and productivity results.
Minimum Requirements The successful candidate will have at least 5+ years management experience, in a revenue cycle setting strong analytical skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A Medical Billing background is required with a strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable Management and back-end physician billing.
Practice Management and coding experience is a plus Education A high school diploma is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
