In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy. In this position, you will:- Provide deal team leadership for related sales within an assigned sales region through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs resulting in execution of definitive sales agreements
- Manage the sales proposal process from opportunity identification through contract flow down to key GE organizations
- Lead deal structuring, pricing and all other proposal development activities as the sales team's primary proposal interface with projects, platform, global operations, risk management and other functional groups as required
- Lead deal strategy development and reviews, ultimately obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, delivery and other commercial terms for specific sales proposals
- Support sales directors with direct customer negotiations as required
- Assist sales directors and regional general managers in identifying new opportunities and creating sales analysis for the assigned sales region
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base
- Work with Marketing to develop new products and services for business growth
- Lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma projects to improve the sales proposal process - Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, business, technical or a High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience within the Energy industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales / Commercial Operations
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Energy industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience selling electrical services and electrical distribution products to industrial, utility and EPC customers.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments including industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
- Ability and willingness to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter
- Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability and willingness to travel within territory Additional Eligibility QualificationsGE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Gambro is establishing a new team within Industrial Engineering. Therefore we are looking for several Industrial engineers with a genuine interest in driving efficiency improvements in the manufacturing sites within Gambro. The team will have a global scope and the authority to drive process improvement via techniques such as Kaizen and Six Sigma, areas which you  should be highly qualified and proven in. As Industrial Engineer you will focus on areas such as quality improvement, lead-time reduction, reducing waste and ensuring the sites run in a more cost efficient manner.

The Industrial Engineers will report to a new position; VP Industrial Engineering, who in turn reports to Executive Vice President.

The positions will be located in Lund.

Job description

Lead/support development of Gambro operation excellence structure/methodology
Support/coordinate OE implementation strategy and rollout
Benchmark plant implementation and spread best practice
Support and coach plants in implementation of lean manufacturing
Follow up of implementation progress and establish reporting structure
Engineer special programs and projects related to cost reductions
Support harmonization of KPI definitions and KPI reporting
Support in target setting and follow up of related activities
Lead/support process development activities
Lead/support identified projects within the area of industrial engineering
Perform audits according to audit process and time schedule
Within the plants be responsible for coordination/execution in  trainings in tools and processes as Six Sigma and Kaizen
Develop tools for analysis and improvement
Create and assist within implementation of standard work
Comply with all Company policies
Participate, as required, in Six Sigma and O.E. workshop activities

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Industrial and System Engineering or related field
Knowledge of Lean Production, Kaizen and Six Sigma techniques
Six Sigma Green Belt status is preferred

It is also necessary to have high level organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, technical understanding and to be stress resistant as well as willing to travel
