Genoptix Medical Laboratory is a part of the Novartis Pharmaceuticals Division. We are focused on developing and commercializing evidence-driven diagnostic tests to improve physicians' ability to optimize patient outcomes.
We're currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the position of:
Senior Manager, Medical Billing
Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the VP, Revenue Cycle, this position directs all aspects of the 'front end' billing operations including registration, eligibility verification, charge verification, charge release and call center activities.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
*Training and continuous education for Medical Staff, Clinical Service Coordinators and Billing and Collections staff related to procedural coding, medical necessity and compliance
*Accurate and compliant administration of Genoptix Charity Care Policies and procedures
*Ensure high call center service levels and ensure timely and responsive communication with patients, customers, Genoptix sales representatives, and managed care representatives regarding billing issues
Minimum Requirements: Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
*High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
*10 years of billing experience in a similar billing environment
*Extensive knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding and CPT4 coding
*Proven effective management experience required
