We are a fast paced, fun Analytics team in the Office Marketing division driving the data-driven culture. We measure end to end business health of the business by defining and managing key business performance metrics. We develop and provide key customer insights and inform the business strategy and business model evolution. This is a highly visible role leading the transforming the organization’s pace to move forward through key insights about our business health and customer insights. In this role, you will define metrics touching various aspect of customer lifecycle. You will provide value by driving key business decisions for multiple stakeholders as well as a thought leader in building a data-driven culture.

The position will be responsible for devising analysis, reporting, and system capability solutions, and providing decision makers with actionable business intelligence. We are looking for an applied analyst who is passionate about data and deriving insights that drive our acquisition, utilization and retention programs. Someone who is driven, self-directed, entrepreneurial and focused on delivering the right results through data and applying. To be successful in this role, you must have strong skills in written and oral communications, a can-do attitude and the willingness to tackle hard problems in innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities

-Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques

Requirements

  3+ years of industry experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.

  Prior experience in BI, reporting, business analysis, and project management.

  Advanced Modeling and Excel skills and high proficiency in SQL

  Some knowledge of Statistics and statistical analysis tools like SAS, R, SPSS

  Manipulate large volumes of data, create new and improved techniques and/or solutions for data collection, management, and usage

  High attention to detail, action oriented, ability to work within stringent deadlines

  Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

  Attention to detail and data accuracy

  Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation communication skills.

  Customer focus and curiosity

  Prior experience in subscription services, telecom, financial services desired

Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. in Science, Mathematics, Applied Physics, Statistics, or Operations Research from a reputed institution

Expectations that you are to master a wide variety of latest technologies.   You are also be expected to provide thought leadership taking on the engineering and technical challenges to help us build and deliver the sophisticated systems required to manage and support a powerful presentation ecosystem of global scale service and effective x-plat modern Application development - these include testing in production, synthetic and real user monitoring, flighting,   experimentation, and (Big) data analysis.

You will working with partners within Microsoft and outside (Office 365, Facebook, SkyDrive, Lync, to name a few), on a mission to deliver rich authoring, collaboration, and consumption experiences in the PowerPoint in new and innovative ways.

Basic Qualifications:

  A solid computer science background (B.S. or equivalent degree)

  7+ years of industry experience in software development. Fluency in Java, C# or C++ required. Experience with Cloud Services or Mobile App development a plus.

  Excellent skills in design, debugging and problem solving.

  Effective communication skills and proven track record to work cross group, cross division and across disciplines

  Demonstrated experience in shipping high quality and large-scale services is a plus

This role will serve as BA for Unstructured Data and will play critical role in the buildout and implementation of structured cabling, end user computing, telephony, and contact center infrastructure. Responsibilities

Manage small to mid-size projects, following standard project management methodology. Support Project Managers by performing Business Process Reviews. Assess, write and communicate business requirements, evaluate and approve technical requirements, develop test plans, test according to those plans and assist with the system design to ensure system functionality. Identify affected parties. Notify and educate involved groups. Manage system testing to ensure thoroughness and accuracy. Conduct system and user testing as required to verify system continuity and integration as well as functionality. Perform detailed ad hoc analysis. Organize and write reports. Research and analyze system and manual processes and prepare written recommendations for changes and/or improvements; work with various groups to ensure successful implementations. Develop and write procedures for newly designed processes or systems. Answer questions regarding system functionality and processing procedures and issues. Support Business Unit during implementation of new clients and services, including ad-hoc training as needed. Develop processes and procedures for the planning and migration of unstructured data across towers and while working with external vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school or relevant experience Experience in process oriented business and in a technical environment Ability to conduct JAD sessions with geographically dispersed teams Interviewing skills as related to unstructured data gathering Working knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques Strong analytical abilities Must be capable of breaking problems into component parts and addressing each individual issue in order to develop an appropriate and thorough solution Interviewing skills as related to data gathering Detail orientation with the ability to understand how a process fits into the overall business model Ability to understand technical functionality and documentation and produce non-technical documentation Ability to work in a fast paced environment Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with competing priority Ability to complete assignments with independent thought and action within the scope of specific assignments Working knowledge of flow chart software (Visio) Three to five years in insurance and/or mortgage servicing preferred
