We’vegot a service that we’re running at scale, which we need to move to multipledatacenters and comply with multiple regional constraints. We need better internaltools to allow our whole engineering staff to work faster and more effectively.We’re seeking engineers who:

? Have good instincts about the tools that need to be built and the flexibility tojump in and build them (in whatever technology makes sense)

? Have past experience in building distributed storage systems

? Have run at least one service at scale in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

? Prioritize internal tool development and respect internal engineers as acustomer base

It’s also helpful if you have experience with Riak, Cassandra, Postgres, and/orBerkeleyDB -- but don’t hesitate to apply if you don’t. Problem-solving ability,experience engineering at scale, and attitude are much better predictors of yoursuccess here.

Server Catalog Program Manager - Cloud Server Infrastructure Team

The Cloud Server Infrastructure Engineering (CSI-E) team within WSSC (Windows Server and System Center) is responsible for server hardware definition, design and development of Server and Rack Infrastructure engineering for Microsoft's online services. We work closely with Microsoft product groups, industry partners and researchers to architect and develop server hardware solutions that meet the requirements for our cloud services platforms at the lowest possible cost of ownership (TCO).  

To support this effort we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who can support our CSI group in Redmond.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas -

E2000 power distribution, Compute/Storage, Chassis Manager board power design.

Drive detailed of board level voltage regulators and board layout for product development that fulfills the product business goals while meeting schedule, cost and performance goals.

Execution of detailed electrical design through system-level design and engineering, validation, and manufacturing activities at contract manufacturers and suppliers

Interface across multiple product development disciplines: Hardware, Mechanical, Firmware, Usability, EMC, Thermal, Acoustics, Tooling, Program Management, Reliability, Compliance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement.

Detailed project planning to successfully execute on delivery dates.

Manage the detail design development with internal and external resources, and provide tactical contribution and subject matter leadership throughout the conceptual and detail design stages of product development.

Assessment and recommendations of emerging technologies and technology roadmaps.

Qualification Summary:

•   BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field

•   5+ Years Electrical Engineering board power design and power design and analysis experience

•   Strong product development experience (5+ years), in high-volume, electronics)

Mathcad, Spice and MATLAB/Sigrtiy/PowerDC/PowerSI (or equivalent simulation tools)

•   Schematic capture and layout using Verilog/Cadence/Mentor (or equivalent tools)

•   Board level debugging, qualification.

•   Demonstrated competencies in power design on consumer electronics products that successfully reached volume production.

•   Ability to work independently and under pressure - must be a team player.

•   Excellent communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills.

Senior Product Marketing Manager

As an individual contributor in Enterprise Services Solutions Marketing, you will define unified customer conversations and messaging, create targeted account plans and execute appropriate campaigns. We are organized by five Priority Areas (Mobility, Productivity, Cloud Platform, Dynamics and Applications) - this role will require depth in at least one of these domains while also working across these solution areas.   External stakeholder inter-dependency places a high emphasis on coordinating with multiple Product Marketing Groups, Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG) and Services Field Leadership to align marketing plans with the company-wide strategy and customer requirements.

In sum, your responsibilities will include:

¨ Priority Area Marketing:   Integrate and simplify cross Priority Area internal and external messaging. Support Priority Area Marketing needs which includes and is not limited to: demand generation programs, lead nurturing activities, account targeting, event support and external and internal evidence development in alignment with Services central marketing team. Displays in-depth solution expertise, and serves as the point of contact or spokesperson to key industry influencers and thought leaders on the topic of key business or solution-line initiatives.

¨ Positioning, Messaging & Storytelling:   Create core content and collateral for the bill of materials (BOM) for multiple solutions. Materials must articulate the solutions value propositions and messaging frameworks and are relevant to and will resonate with customers. Integrated with business groups and Enterprise & Partner Marketing (EPG) on campaigns and align core messaging.

¨ Customer Advocacy:   Create the appropriate vehicles to identify customer buying behaviors and technology trends.   Create innovative approaches to harvest best practices from customer engagements and replicate for new opportunities.  

¨ Marketing Planning: Create marketing execution plans for Services solutions based on understanding of market, strategy, competitive landscape, voice of the customer and economic dynamics.   Monitors existing business metrics and augments strategies that ensure ROI.

¨ Competitive Positioning & Response:   Monitor key competitors to provide insight and input to program management during the solution planning process in order to create competitive differentiation

You will have a passion for marketing solutions to enterprise customers and have a proven track record of working across field marketing and sales organizations. Strong cross group collaboration, impact & influence, interpersonal awareness, analytical and communication skills are required. Must have the ability to demonstrate executive maturity and strong collaboration with senior leadership teams. Successful candidates must also have a strong understanding of the both Microsoft’s Enterprise Products and Field Sales and Services disciplines.  

Qualifications:

¨ 6+ years of marketing or sales experience.

¨ Experience in the development and implementation of marketing programs, campaigns or initiatives is essential.

¨ Deep domain expertise in the complex software solution market. Working knowledge of the competitive landscape and understanding of the partner ecosystem including motivation, capabilities, key differentiators, etc.

¨ Strong communication, data synthesis, presentation, leadership, and comfort interfacing with various technical and business leaders is required

¨ Familiarity with MS Consulting and Support services business and field operations is imperative.

¨ A BA/MS in Marketing and Professional Services or Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred. An MBA is a strong plus.

This position will be based in Redmond, WA at Microsoft headquarters, with global travel expected to be approximately 10%.

Job Description:
Our direct client, a bank, looking for a technically strong IT senior Infrastructure Architect.

Position Summary

Responsible for delivery of the design for the Bank's Data Center relocation initiative. This includes researching and recommending preferred technical solutions for the re-design of the Bank's Data Center IT infrastructure. Create and/or compile all design documentation, diagrams, configuration and inventory lists for the project. Participate in regularly scheduled project status meetings and working sessions (as needed) to address outstanding issues. Identify and address any risks to the project's successful completion and raise these risks to the attention of the Bank's direct and/or upper management. Work with all internal staff and external vendors providing services for the project as it relates to producing the Data Center design.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

Create the IT infrastructure design for the Bank's Data Center relocation project.Timely completion of all design work and all related documentation. Incorporate best practice design elements and vendor's technical roadmap plans.Identify (and address, if possible) any potential and real risks associated with the project.Update management on all aspects of the design process & seek assistance (as appropriate).

Required Education and Certifications

Bachelors degree in IT or other related discipline. Certificates and/or training on VMware ESXi and vCenter, Cisco networking, enterprise SANs, HP blade systems and structured cabling.

Required Experience

Must have extensive experience designing data center equipment implementations in relation to relocation/co-location projects, with a focus on re-architecting to improve efficiencies and manageability. Must thoroughly understand server virtualization and replication technologies. Experience with server farms, computer operations, storage systems, voice and data networks, LANs, WANs, Internet filtering appliances and server-based applications is highly preferred.

Required Skills

Proven ability to produce and deliver data center designs. Strong background with managing technical projects. Excellent communications and leadership skills. Demonstrated success in bringing complex projects to completion and coordinate with multiple SME resources.
