CRM Technical Architect – US Dynamics

In this role, you will work with Microsoft’s strategic partners to develop solution architectures, build technical value propositions and identify patterns & practices to create intellectual property that can be leveraged by Microsoft field teams. You will also present Microsoft’s technical point of view in business application space at internal and external events to establish yourself as a thought leader. This position combines the creativity and passion of being a Dynamics CRM Architect with the rewarding challenge of working directly with existing and new partners and the customers they serve. Primary required product domain expertise is CRM with preferred knowledge of mobility and Cloud Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner Technical Enablement:
• Collaborate with Microsoft recruit and field teams to identify key solution areas and top strategic partners that can be enabled by Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform
• Create and maintain business relationships with recruit and managed CRM partners as a technical advisor; provide influence to help them build solutions on Microsoft platform and drive product adoption
• Show how Microsoft Dynamics CRM capabilities and Microsoft platform provide differentiated value to meet and exceed customer business needs
• Combine existing and new readiness resources to support enablement plans for partner practice and solution building
• Provide Architectural & Application Overviews to provide vision for partnership. Hold design reviews with partner development teams, articulating the value of the Dynamics CRM functionality, architecture, scalability and how to develop to it.
Strategic Sales Support:
• Establish and maintain credible technical relationships at the executive level. Partners and the customers they serve should view you as an advisor
• Provide pre-sales solution architecture guidance, POC support and demo design/delivery assistance in collaboration with field teams and partners
• Identify first wave of customers for partner developed solutions to be rolled out to and provide technical guidance to help the partners win; deliver joint demos in pre-sales cycles
Evangelism:
• Deliver speaking engagements evangelizing Dynamics CRM (either internal or external)
• Participate and drive community technical calls with recruit and managed CRM partners
Technical Thought Leadership:
Identify competitive and market trends in the CRM domain and create re-usable architectures with designated partners that support the solution areas to address these trends. Share the insights with field and product teams.

• Compelling demos, presentations, and case studies that prepare field teams to create their own customer successes

• Critical feedback that helps the Dynamics CRM product teams improve our product
• Internal and External Community engagement (e.g. blogs, webcasts, videos, events, newsletters) that build awareness and excitement
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong technical background, including experience with Dynamics CRM, developing production applications on the Windows platform or a competing platform
• 7+ years of CRM Experience. Must have CRM implementation experience in Microsoft Dynamics or Siebel/SFDC/SAP CRM.
• Experience in delivering Architecture Design Sessions, presentations and demos
• Experience with Windows development and integration platforms/technologies including SQL, XML, SOA, .NET, mobility
• Experience authoring a functional specification and/or developing/managing the project schedule
• Ability to grasp quickly strategic customer/partner business objectives and to articulate an engagement plan that addresses these objectives
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in virtual teams at national/global level
