Job Description:
Design, implement, maintain, and modify databases to fit business processes, extract and manipulate data for reporting, support users with existent applications.

Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and databases using SQL Server management Studio, SQL reporting Services, Microsoft Access, VB/VBA, SQL Queries, Java.
Manage projects to develop new applications or processes including information gathering, development, testing, implementation, fine tuning and maintenance.
Document database design and implementation (flowcharts, user training manuals, data models).
Automate manual business and technical processes by using VBA modules for use across global applications.
Develop advanced reports for business department using SQL Reporting Services, VBA in Microsoft Access, Excel, Crystal Reports.
Create ad-hoc queries and reports for business department for management and internal and external audits.
Maintain the integrity of the database header/detail records.
Troubleshoot issues with proprietary applications.
User support with existent and new applications, queries, forms, and reports.

Requirements:
User support for various applications, reports, forms and queries.
Use SQL Server Management Studio to view and manage databases.
Retrieve data from a data-source using SQL statements.
Develop complex SQL queries and triggers for applications
Prepare and update database design specifications.
Design and implement new databases for various business processes
Write VBA code for use in forms, user-defined functions, calculations, classes and modules.

Experience
Database design and implementation 5 years experience
SQL server 2008/SQL Server Management Studio
MS Access databases, writing queries, forms, and reports
Writing and maintaining VB/VBA code
Java
Ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, dedication, and leadership in handling projects, works with minimum supervision, is analytical, and is service oriented.
