Progressive and growing company has an immediate need for a bright Mid or Senior Developer who has strong open-source experience and passion to pick up on Ruby on Rails. In this role, you will support current and future apps, built using Rails and PHP. The company currently has an app in development right now, and they need to hire individuals to continue to keep the thread going. The company is expanding rapidly and needs to hire a very bright and eager mid/senior who enjoys working with all sorts of different interactive web projects!
Responsibilities:
Handle immediate needs as it pertains to a significant Ruby on Rails application for a leading football website. Develop Back End using Rails or PHP. Get involved on the Front End as well with CSS tweaks, etc. Work in a multitude of different areas, interacting with the Creative Team and prototyping, in addition to your traditional coding duties. This is the perfect job for a Developer who can think on his own, stay creative to come up with new solutions, and interact well with peers. Daily stand ups from time to time to help keep projects moving along as things change, but they are a blend of Agile/Waterfall depending on the need of their customer. Collaborate with design team during concept and prototype phases, then again during construction phases.Requirements:
3+ years open-source experience with a passion for technology and desire to pick up Ruby On Rails. Must have experience with jQueryPlusses:
Any experience with Java, PHP, .NET, Android, iOS Any experience working with Facebook applications.
