Role Summary/Purpose: Manages GE Healthcare’s relationship with a portfolio of national and multi-regional healthcare providers; including outpatient imaging systems, ambulatory surgery chains, and oncology services providers. Responsible for proactively developing and executing a One GE Healthcare sales strategy that capitalizes on the strength of GE Healthcare’s products, services, and solutions. Identify, coordinate and lead cross P&L resources in achievement of account strategies and GE business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities * Build a OneGE account strategy for all assigned accounts to achieve sales, orders and margin targets for GEHC sales at assigned accounts while managing costs within budget.
* Develop domain expertise in assigned customer categories (e.g. Oncology).
* The National Account Director will have responsibility for building and leading cross functional, cross-P&L teams to deliver on GE business objectives.
* Uncover and document customers’ key initiatives and priorities through interactions at multiple levels of account. Lead the development of an account business strategy that translates these initiatives and priorities into opportunities for GE Healthcare solutions, products, and services.
* Lead key operating mechanisms for the GE Healthcare account team to ensure execution of the sales strategy.
* Lead key operating mechanisms with the customer.
* Act as the primary customer executive point of contact in the assigned Accounts. Build “trusted advisor” relationships with account’s executive leaders.
* Lead the account team, including P&L Business Specialists, Account Managers, Service Operations and other Company resources, in providing technical, clinical, and business content to customers as needed. Lead the GE Healthcare Account Team in designing and delivering solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree—Major unspecified
* Healthcare industry experience
* Minimum 5 years experience in Business Management or Sales / Marketing OR equivalent years of experience in progressive leadership positions
* Minimum 3 years of experience working with healthcare executives
* Minimum 3 years experience closing large, complex, and strategic commercial business
* Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development.
* Proven team building and team leadership skills
* Experience managing and leading within a matrix organization.
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of highly motivated sales professionals.
* Willing to travel up to 3 days per week.
