Role Summary/Purpose
GE Triveni Regional Product Manager is a key role contributing to the business development of the presence of this product line in the North American market by coordinating resources and providing support an expertise to the Sales Area Managers. This position demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within the functional area.

Essential Responsibilities
Support proposals negotiations with customers and sales force driving the regional target for orders volume and CM Be responsible to prepare technical and commercial proposals for projects in the IPG segment Prepare detailed and complete commercial proposals following the risk company procedures Be responsible for obtaining orders and sales by driving and implementing sales strategy Create and execute a deal strategy with sales team, application engineering and all functions in the organization, with conducting appropriate risk and opportunity assessment Support market development and product development in the region coordinating with product leaders, and market leaders in HQ Lead cross functional team to identify opportunities to drive volume growth in all product segments of in the 30MW- 100 MW steam turbines Work with IPG customers to determine appropriate product / service solutions Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of customer organizations and within GE Contribute to define and implement marketing and commercial strategies to increase orders volume and profitability Actively participate in Demand to Inquiry (DTI) process , establishing a systematic business-scouting program with the purpose of identifying existing and new market opportunities Leverage cross-functional and cross business resources in order to maximize market penetration Identify new market opportunities and cross-selling GE products

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in a field sales or marketing position

Desired Characteristics

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (mechanical/ electrical) Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (only for GE employees) Local customer base and IPG market experience is preferred Knowledge of steam turbine technology and services Ability to effectively interface with executive levels of internal and external customers Strong oral and written communication skills Strong presentation skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Working knowledge of assigned systems and client organization and practices
