This role is a good opportunity for an individual who wishes to work in a non profit making organisation that has expanded rapidly over the course of the last couple of years and intends to maintain that growth in the future. The role will be broken into 2 parts as follows -
Payroll Duties
Liaison with staff members, Team Co-ordinators and management to ensure timesheets are correctly completed, authorised and received in a timely manner
Arrange payment of staff via computerised SAGE payroll system
Process statutory year end returns, P60's & P11D's
Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating payroll processes
Deal with employee's payroll and salary queries effectively and efficiently
Enter variable data for payroll purposes i.e. sleep in rates, on-call rates etc.
Liaise with Revenue & Customs where necessary
Send all P45's, P46s to Revenue & Customs for new starters and leavers
Update all statutory payments as appropriate i.e. SSP, SMP, SPP etc to the highest standards within legislative deadlines
Send all P11D's as required for staff benefits received
Process pay rises/increment bonuses and keep database up to date
Maintain appropriate salary and wages record/filing system for audit purposes
Produce monthly payslips and distribute accordingly
All other payroll duties as required.
Administration
Process all new starters and leavers on Sage HR system
Maintain Employee Benefits database and liaise with insurer's re new eligible members and leavers of the schemes .
Support employee queries in relation to benefit schemes available, which include private medical insurance, employee assistance programmes, cash plans.
Assist with other HR admin duties as required
