Position Description AR Specialist As an AR Specialist with Mc Kesson Corp.
, you'll be responsible for helping us properly interpret and resolve rejections insufficient payments and unpaid claims for insurance companies.
Specifically, you will: - Work with insurance companied to resolve unpaid claims - Respond to correspondence received from insurance carriers or patients.
- Appropriately changes essential information needed for insurance carriers for redirection or status of initial claims.
- Manage denied claims and appropriately file appeals - Make outbound calls to hospitals or insurance companies to research and gather necessary information for successful claim resolution - Strong knowledge of computer skills.
- Internet navigation is necessary - Write letter or refund request to the client.

Minimum Requirements Minimum requirements for this position include but are not limited to: - 1-3 year's previous medical billing within a healthcare environment is necessary Other: - Basic computer skills - Intermediate web navigation skills - Experience writing correspondence - Ability to produce detailed work accurately and efficiently.
