Title: Patient Accounts Representative - Medical Billing Location: Washington-Spokane Valley Providence is calling a Patient Accounts Representative to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA. In this position you will: * Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits. * Resolve outstanding receivables. * Process billing and payments to include Medicaid and Charity Care applications. * Evaluate patient's financial status and establishes budget payment plans. Required qualifications for this position include: * High School diploma or GED equivalent * Two years experience in a medical office billing * Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English * Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding * Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Outlook and Word) Preferred qualifications for this position include: * Previous experience with healthcare billing, coding, and associated billing systems About the department you will serve.
