Suppliers representing their products and services gain a comprehensive marketing program designed to promote their brand and generate, track and manage highly-qualified sales leads. The Account Executive will consistently close new business in a highly competitive inside, consultative selling environment. Must have the ability to initiate high-level interactive business conversations with key decision makers in both small and large product manufacturers and service companies as it relates to Internet marketing and advertising programs in the industrial/engineering space. The ability to create interest and build value by use of a multi-call process is essential. Must be able to identify and develop strategies to overcome both obvious and hidden hurdles in the decision making process. Must be able to build a strong pipeline, close new business and expand customer relationships that ensure renewal and increase business. Job Requirements/Skill Specifications: Education: Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. BA or BS preferred. Experience: 5+ years professional selling experience. Prior earnings in excess of $75,000 preferred. The ideal candidate will possess: Industry experience Previous experience selling marketing/advertising programs Proven ability to build a solid customer base through networking and cold calling prospective clients Prior experience with Internet product sales Prior experience with sales of Cost Per Click or Search Engine Optimization Programs preferred. Skills: Mastery of sales skills including navigating past gatekeepers, creating interest and developing strategic business solutions over the telephone. Effective utilization of research tools and resources. Ability to educate/sell prospect base on new ideas in the marketplace. Ability to keep prospects engaged throughout a multi-step sales process. Active listening skills. Ability to process information and incorporate feedback into an interactive business conversation. Ability to convey ideas effectively and sell intangibles. Strong closing skills. Professional demeanor and the ability to instill trust in prospects. Strong business ethics. Ability to maintain a self-motivated, consistent high level of focus and enthusiasm on a daily basis. Ability to work independently within a team environment. Ability to create effective correspondence. Must have computer literacy including familiarity in handling and maintaining a customer relationship database.
