Gambro is establishing a new team within Industrial Engineering. Therefore we are looking for several Industrial engineers with a genuine interest in driving efficiency improvements in the manufacturing sites within Gambro. The team will have a global scope and the authority to drive process improvement via techniques such as Kaizen and Six Sigma, areas which you  should be highly qualified and proven in. As Industrial Engineer you will focus on areas such as quality improvement, lead-time reduction, reducing waste and ensuring the sites run in a more cost efficient manner.

The Industrial Engineers will report to a new position; VP Industrial Engineering, who in turn reports to Executive Vice President.

The positions will be located in Lund.

Job description

Lead/support development of Gambro operation excellence structure/methodology
Support/coordinate OE implementation strategy and rollout
Benchmark plant implementation and spread best practice
Support and coach plants in implementation of lean manufacturing
Follow up of implementation progress and establish reporting structure
Engineer special programs and projects related to cost reductions
Support harmonization of KPI definitions and KPI reporting
Support in target setting and follow up of related activities
Lead/support process development activities
Lead/support identified projects within the area of industrial engineering
Perform audits according to audit process and time schedule
Within the plants be responsible for coordination/execution in  trainings in tools and processes as Six Sigma and Kaizen
Develop tools for analysis and improvement
Create and assist within implementation of standard work
Comply with all Company policies
Participate, as required, in Six Sigma and O.E. workshop activities

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Industrial and System Engineering or related field
Knowledge of Lean Production, Kaizen and Six Sigma techniques
Six Sigma Green Belt status is preferred
