My client is a leading a securities dealer who specialise in high frequency trading, with it trading worldwide and around the clock in the more liquid futures and stock markets, establishing a significant volume in leading products- Now, due to outstanding profits and aggressive expansion plans the development team in now looking to bring on board an experienced Senior C++ Developer with experience in low latency systems and either exposure to or a sever passion for the high frequency trading space- The firm itself is active in Asia, Europe and the US, giving them a real appetite for the highest calibre of product performance and exercising the most dynamic and innovative technologies to keep them ahead of the rest of the field- With this in mind the success of the Senior C++ Developer, and ultimately the firms` success as a whole, is based on their seasoned professionals` ability to offer sound, independent investment advice to help investors and clients alike achieve their financial goals- Within the role the successful candidate will look to concentrate on areas such as Market Data feeds, Order Placement and internal middleware and ensure that the systems and architecture can fully support stock trading in the near term- In the longer term you will look to build much lower latency market data and order execution environments as well as complete front-to-back end high frequency trading systems-

Senior C++ Low Latency Developer - High Frequency Trading, Leading Securities Dealer, Geneva, Switzerland will require the following skill-set;

- C++ (excellent)

- Python/Perl

- STL/Boost

- Low Latency

- Linux

- Secondary programming languages like C#/Java/Core Java could be beneficial

- Solid communication skills

- Ability to take lead on projects

- High Education BSc/MSc/PhD in technical related subject

Responsibilities of Senior C++ Low Latency Developer - High Frequency Trading, Leading Securities Dealer, Geneva, Switzerland;

- Initially focus on areas such as Market Data feeds, Order Placement and internal middleware

- Ensure that the systems and architecture can fully support stock trading in the near term

- Build much lower latency market data and order execution environments

- Build front-to-back end high frequency trading systems

- Take Lead Developer role on projects

- Report to Senior Partners

- Familiarise the group with market activity
