Summary of Purpose: To accurately key data and attach documents received by physician, home health, specialty pharmacies, and patients into the companies database.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): ?
Requests medically necessary information to obtain prescriptions ?
Assists in obtaining missing information ?
Faxes enrollments to Connection Program and Home Health services if applicable. ?
Inputs data regarding new physician enrollments into database ?
Provides administrative support to the call center staff by retrieving faxes, copying information, filing and retrieving data and responding to other needs as requested ?
Ensures enrollments are forwarded to the appropriate internal department for processing ?
Maintains all patient confidentiality

Must be able to communicate with internal customers such as all levels of management and staff.

Must be able to communicate with external customers such as doctors’ offices and specialty pharmacies.
Minimum Education Required:
·
High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Preferred:
·
One to three years minimum experience in a health insurance company, home health company, physician billing office, or other similar service oriented business
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required (except where noted as preferred):
Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team oriented environment
Ability to express ideas clearly both written and oral communications
Ability to enter data correctly
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks well
Strong computer skills required; preferably Microsoft Word or Excel software applications
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to resolve problems independently
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Adaptable to changing priorities as needed
Physical Requirements:
Environment: These job responsibilities are executed as part of a business support service center. The position will be located in a fast-paced, start up organization with the potential for a variety of unplanned activities to occur simultaneously.
