High school graduation or equivalent supplemented by one (1) year of experience in administrative support and customer service. Knowledge of and experience in human resources preferred. Knowledge of: Principles and procedures of customer service and administrative support; modern office technology and equipment including computers and related software; internet functions; English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation; general mathematics. Ability to: Perform multiple tasks while responding to interruptions; provide support to a broad range of human resources functions; be detail oriented with strong organizational skills; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a diverse customer base; accurately perform data entry; learn and utilize various software applications; learn, interpret and apply policies and procedures; compile and maintain documents, reports and records including confidential data and information; respond to requests and inquiries from the general public and internal staff; understand and carry out oral and written directions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Work is performed in an office environment and is generally sedentary; primary functions require physical condition necessary for sitting for prolonged periods of time, light lifting, repetitive motions, extensive use of computer keyboard.
