As part of this role you will have the opportunity to interact with both the systems and marketing teams to define test plans. You may also be responsible for overseeing the work of others using the test systems you develop and taking their feedback to improve test efficiency. This person will also work with other test development teams within Broadcom to identify opportunities to reuse hardware and software blocks as well as correlate tests results.
REQUIREMENTS:
Total engineering minimum experience required is typically a BS degree and 9 years of experience, an MS degree and 6 years of experience or a PhD and 3 years of experience or equivalent.
– Wireless design experience strongly is a plus
– BSEE (Electrical Engineering) required, MSEE or PhDEE preferred or equivalent.
– RF/PHY related experience is a big plus.
– Scripting language experience such as Perl, Tcl, Python
– Experience Lab equipment, Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, VSA, temp. chamber, etc.
– Ability to collect, plot, and analyze data using excel, matlab, or other means
– Candidate must have good communication skills with willingness to interact with various groups within the company
