Consultant Cost Estimator, Houston
(We are seeking personnel currently working/based in Houston/US Nationals).
Prepare cost estimates in support of the Consultancy business
Perform development of ADEPT estimating software and development of database for benchmarking/norms/tools
Reports to the Consultancy Manager, Houston
University Degree or equivalent in technical or business discipline Skills:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Good understanding of estimating practices for the oil and gas sector
Good English communication skills
Able to transfer knowledge
Able to work well with clients (both internal and external)
Able to argue his/her ideas and to obtain support from co-workers
Able to accept and implement decisions
Able to work under pressure
Work well in team environment as well as independently, often under strict deadlines
Able to report in a clear manner
Able to seek clarification and information where appropriate
