You will join a small dedicated talented team in the development and creation on a state of the art Web Framework which tracks the processes of creating a System On a Chip (SOC) device.
This job requires understanding the various processes required to design a SOC device, from Synthesis of RTL, Layout, Timing Analysis, and Design for Test (DFT). The successful candidate will also be gain experience in SQL databases, Java and Perl Programming and UI design in Web Interfaces
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be a hands-on, self-motivated person with in knowledge of SOC design processes and a background in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and have excellent engineering problem solving skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Assist in testing the UI and verifying new releases of the Framework
• Modify existing code to correct issues or extend to add new features.
• Support users on the Framework, and track requests for enhancements.
• Re-generation of user reported issues and verifying fixes.
• Working towards BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (MSEE preferred)
• Proficiency with an OOP language and concepts and a strong interest in this area
• Good scripting skills (Visual Basic Script, Perl, TCL, or Unix Shell)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently under schedule pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Some understanding of processes involved in SOC design and verification.
