Chemonics seeks an associate to support our home-office recruitment efforts. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with high energy and a commitment to results. The candidate will be responsible for cultivating professional relationships to build talent pipelines and to recruit new talent. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world!
Responsibilities include:
•Assess current hiring needs and gaps with the designated regional business unit, and develop strategies to fill them
•Assist with the consolidation of recruitment processes
•Evaluate hiring decisions and work in partnership with internal customers to ensure quality selections
•Ensure that all recruitment, hiring and placement of staff adhere to Chemonics’ policies and procedures, relevant human resource laws and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs standards
•Support outreach and recruiting events
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
•Minimum one year administrative work experience required; recruiting experience strongly preferred
•Experience working with international organizations or experience living and working in developing countries preferred.
•Basic knowledge of human resources principles and compliance
•Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
•Ability to promote teamwork and a positive work environment and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
•Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong attention to detail
•Ability to work well with sophisticated and diverse audiences
•Demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative responding to complex requests and multiple stakeholders
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required; familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred
•Proven ability to establish personal and professional credibility and build effective relationships with clients
•Willingness to travel for meetings and network opportunities when needed
•Foreign language proficiency in French, Spanish or Arabic strongly preferred
