The Position –Computer Operator Reporting to the Application Development Manager, the Computer Operator will manage system console on the IBM I-Series and support end user corporate information needs. The Computer Operator will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Manage the I-Series system console including daily system jobs, back-ups and month-end processing. Distribute corporate reports and fulfill user data requests. Support corporate imaging and electronic forms software. Train and support end-users on software applications. Maintain and develop department documentation and operating procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer hardware and software. Set-up and support computer hardware including workstations, personal computers, Perform other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least three years operations experience in an IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment as well as knowledge of RPGLE, CL, and DDS programming languages Strong writing and oral communication skills Proficiency in MS/Office Experience with Infor BPCS/LX software is preferred.
