This person shall be responsible for post silicon validation / Chip verification on Broadcom flagship chips, developing and executing test plans, help trouble shoot bugs with S/W and H/W design teams. Run driver and H/W qualification suites and create documentation for test suites and test results.
The candidate should be familiar with Digital oscilloscopes, Bus analyzers, Power measurements tools. We operate on all three major platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac) and expect the candidate to be fluent on at least two.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, verbal and written and should be able to work independently, and follow directions.
Requirements:
- BSEE + 3 year or MSEE
- Excellent debug skills
- Basic communication theory
- Clear communication & documentation ability
- Operation of bus analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power measurement tools ,spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment
- Circuit theory & ability to read schematics
- Experience in chip validation
- Experience create his/her own test solution.
- Familiar with at least one of the following interfaces: PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, SWP is highly desired.
- Fluent with industry available relevant test tools for above interfaces
- Fluent computer operator
- Work experience on either Python or Perl
- Chip design experience is a plus.
