RESPONSIBILITIES
Issue and receive equipment for repair in support of the WTA mission at the NTC. Inventory and inspect equipment. Use Microsoft Office Excel and Word to create and update documents. Create work orders using Maximo data base. Use manual material handling equipment and safe lifting practices to store equipment. Maintain accountability of equipment through all phases of the repair process. Maintain materials storerooms in compliance with Raytheon and government requirements. Issue materials to technicians and document materials issues and returns against the appropriate work orders in the Maximo database. Conduct on-going 10% materials inventories and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Monitor inventory levels and create Transfer Orders, Purchase Requests and Service Requests as appropriate to insure adequate stock levels are maintained. Receive and inspect materials shipments. Safely handle Electro-Static Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) materials. Properly store and dispense chemicals. Inventory and pack government equipment for shipment to off-site locations. Prepare appropriate documentation for off-site shipments in order to insure accountability and proper tracking. Schedule shipments. Receive and inspect government equipment sent from other locations. Use fork lift, banding machine and other manual materials handling equipment to safely prepare, load and unload pallets and boxes. Safeguard Raytheon and U.S. government property. Conduct periodic property inventories. Monitor property utilization and turn in excess equipment. Perform other duties as required to support the WTA mission.
Will adhere to Company, Site Manager, Division Manager and Team leader directives, memoranda, policies and procedures. Support quality/ISO, security and training programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Two (2) years experience as a supply technician, to include practical experience with logistics management systems and associated military systems.
Desired Skills: Good working knowledge of computer operations. Familiarity with MILES equipment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Maximo data base. Good working knowledge of government supply system. Excellent typing skills; able to perform data entry quickly with minimal errors.
Desired Physical Abilities: Must be able to perform duties and travel in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, and wind) and at height (helicopter travel, mountain tops, elevated walk areas and towers). Must be able to bend, lift, and carry equipment and materials.
Special Requirements: Must have valid California driver license and maintain Post driving privileges. Obtain Military licenses & Night Vision certification if required. Travel off road in company 4×4 vehicles and military tactical vehicles if required. Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Willing to work any shift to include overtime, weekends and Holidays. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
