What Is the Purpose of This Position?
Service directly and personally to the customer base around the Northern Nevada to Eastern Idaho region.

Major Duties:

1. Call on current and potential customers. Professionally manage specific territory and the associated business. Provide information, support and customer relations. Includes problem solving and relationship building with customers. Assist in negotiating customer contracts/pricing agreements.

2. Provide market information pertaining to distribution, processing and fabrication services.

3. Work with inside sales (structural/processing/fabrication) and sales management to generate business. Formulate strategies towards specific accounts. Work with purchasing department to research and source products relating to customer requirements.

4. Review daily, weekly and monthly reports to monitor order/quote and general business activity relating to the territory.

Job skills required include:
• Prior steel product and fabrication knowledge required
• Prior outside sales experience preferred
• Must be self motivated and have ability to manage time effectively
• Good math background and ability to work with numbers accurately
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with the public
• Excellent organizational skills
• College degree preferred
