We are recruiting for a Software Support Consultant / Application Support Consultant with Accounting, ERP or Finance Software Support expertise or someone with knowledge of IT Support and an accounting background and / or AAT qualification.
This is a new opportunity to work for a well-established software consultancy near Tring in Hertfordshire, who are authors of their own ERP, business management and financial software which is an extremely successful product in their niche market. Starting salary to £30k plus bonus and benefits.
This is a real opportunity for a Support Consultant / Support Analyst with accounting, finance, payroll or ERP software support experience, to work with a dynamic, friendly team of Project Managers, Software Consultants and Support Analysts looking after a large base of clients and building strong customer relationships.
As a Support Consultant, you will be part of the Help Desk / Support Team, taking enquiries by telephone and email, logging in remotely and providing resolution to their clients accounting and ERP software problems. Plenty of opportunities in the future to get involved in software implementation and / or training.
You need confidence, a really good telephone manner, good problem solving skills and knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Payroll or ERP software with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. The company will also consider candidates with IT Support experience and a previous background in accounting, or even someone working in accounts who has an AAT qualification and a desire to move into accounting software support.
You will enjoy working for a small company, 40 strong, where you can make real impact and use your initiative.
Candidates should be bright and enthusiastic, with proven experience of either supporting or working with professional accounting or ERP software such as Epicor, Access Dimensions, Movex, Dynamics NAV, Agresso, Sage 200, Lawson, Access Accounts, Epicor, Sage Line 500, Iris Exchequer, SunSystems, SAP Business One, NetSuite, COA, Coda or any other similar solution. You should have great customer service skills and a thirst for learning.
