Description


Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems sector is seeking a Contract Administrator 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Charlottesville, VA.


The Contract Administrator administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.


Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.


Candidates who have recently graduated and have no experience must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 or higher.


U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
Contracting or purchasing exposure.


SAP experience.
