JobSummary:
Assists the Director of Human Resources with administrative and departmental responsibilities. Participates in performance improvement andcontinuous quality improvement activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITEDTO:


Ability to assist general management of the Human Resource Department. Supports all Human Resource programs and activities.


Demonstrates the ability to compile and organize data.


Able to put together data from different sources for special projects; prepares reports.


Maintains procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow.


Demonstrates the ability to perform clerical duties, i.e., correspondence, preparing reports, memos, etc…


Develops and maintains facility human resource / personnel files and records; files and records are filed promptly and kept in a manner where confidentiality is maintained.


Answers the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls appropriately.


Responds to all inquiries in an expedient manner.


Ensures Human Resources’ polices and procedures are followed.


Communicates appropriately and clearly to management, employees, and general public.


Is a team player; works on special projects, schedules workflow.


Is a resource person both within the department and to administrative staff of other departments.


Demonstrates the ability to schedule meetings between departments and management.


Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organized.


Performs other duties as assigned.


Represents the HR department and BMC in a positive and professional manner.


Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.


Complies with all Human Resource policies regarding ethical business practices.


Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the Human Resource department.


Meets dress code standards; appearance is neat and clean.


Completes annual educational requirements.


Maintains regulatory requirements.


Maintains employee confidentiality at all times.


Wears identification while on duty; uses Kronos time system correctly.


Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.


Qualifications


Regulatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with t


hree to five years of Human Resource or relevant business related experience required.


Education / Experience Substitution: Associate Degree with five to seven years of Human Resource or relevant business related experience.


Language Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate in English; both verbally and in writing.


Strong presentation skills.


Skills:
Excellent computer knowledge and skills in Excel, Word, Publisher, and Power Point programs.


Possess organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
